Is China Mobile's Mystery Smartphone Apple's iPhone 5S?

China Mobile (NYSE:CHL) is tightlipped over the much anticipated deal with apple fruit Inc. (Nasdaq:AAPL), regardless of having started to take preorders for a mysterious unnamed 4G smartphone.

"China Mobile has yet to reach affirmation with apple fruit, but good news warrants to be remained for, and we anticipate to release related collaboration data soon," said Xi Guohua, head person of China Mobile, inquiring customers to have more patience.

It had been speculated that the ceramic wireless – apple fruit deal will be announced as early as this week, but Xi’s comments, made during the ceramic wireless international Partner seminar 2013 in the city of Guangzhou, make the broadcast gaze improbable, the ceramic Daily reported on Thursday.

Last week, ceramic Mobile’s Beijing agency started taking online preorders for an unnamed 4G smartphone.. While the company did not identify the particular apparatus online speculation points to the iPhone 5S handset, as there was a golden apple on the preorder sheet on the ceramic wireless advertisement for preorder.

About 68,000 people had made online bookings by Thursday, though no one understands if or when they will get a genuine iPhone 5S smartphone.

There is little reason to concern however as a ceramic wireless official who demanded anonymity said the large-scale image of the cooperation between the Chinese carrier and the American electronics monster has been resolved, and only details are still under discussion.

ceramic wireless, the biggest Chinese carrier with 760 million users, has functioned on a 3G mesh incompatible with Apple goods. ceramic wireless subscribers who use iPhones were obliged to use an even slower 2G mesh, or move to one of the competitor household carriers, restricted (NYSE:CHU) and ceramic Telecom Corporation Limited (NYSE:CHA).

"Apple Inc could deal as many as 17 million new iPhones to China Mobile's users in the first year after the two companies bind the knot," said Bryan Wang, vice leader of Forrester, said in an internet message to the ceramic Daily. To designated day, apple fruit has already traded more than 16.8 million iPhones in China in the 12-month time span ending on Sept. 30, and the joint venture with ceramic wireless will have iPhone sales soar.
